More DAK troopers

Yikes! These guys take awhile to convert. 2-4 hours each. And then there were ten! When I prime and photograph models, all the flaws jump out at me. This is good. It gives me room to correct with extra sanding, sculpting, or paint. My eyes aren't what they used to be... All these models are "heroic" 1/48 scale. Make of that what you will.

After I paint these guys I'll move onto some Germans in heavy armor and a couple of Tamiya Sd Kfz 251/1. Maybe a Puma with an AA mount to knock Chickasaws (or Westland Whirlwinds, as the British renamed them) out of the skies. Sikorsky Chickasaw models are rare in 1/48 so John and I may dabble in anachronisms a bit and work off of the Revell Wessex (Choctaw) which is a later variant. Brits coming too!

Hey, anybody making a 1/48 Katzchen yet? We might be willing to fund that sucker in resin. Would beat the crap out of a 251...though that old workhorse is still plenty serviceable in '49.

Anyhoo, here are some dudes:
